I live at Parua Bay, Whangarei, where I has views of one of New Zealand’s most beautiful harbours.
Native bush surrounds the house which is perched on a ridge, with many native birds nearby.
I gain my inspiration from the natural world. I have a history of working for the environment which takes me out into the bush and coast a lot.
Shells and sand collected from the many beaches on both coasts of Northland are used in the artworks I create. I have found that there is a huge range of colours in the sands from different beaches, giving an ever-changing resource.
Sand and stones have been collected from around the New Zealand coastline. Have sand from a beach that is special to you? I can incorporate into your customised artwork.
I enjoy working with people to create unique artworks, incorporating their input and reflecting their individuality
