Design a commission
You can have as much input into the creation of your painting as you wish.
You can pick a design, change the colours, size, add design elements such as plants or words, choose gemstones to be included and sand from beaches that are special to you.
Commission examples have included anniversary dates showing in relief under the paint, special plants such as kowhai or hibiscus, birds like fantail or tui.
I welcome your input to create a personalised artwork that is even more special.

Kathy Mortimer is a New Zealand artist and enjoys using the sands and shells of many beaches in her artworks.
Art from Nature artworks can be found all over the world and we make sure non-threatened species are used and they are suitable for export.
Kathy frequents markets all over Northland, and if you are in the area it is a great chance to see the artworks “in the flesh”.
